Pennine Link is a group of local U3A's.


Representatives from High Lane,Marple Bridge& Mellor, Marple, New Mills, Romiley,  Glossop & Buxton meet 3 or 4 times a year to discuss subjects of common interest.


The co-ordinator is Eva Wilkie from Marple Bridge& Mellor & the High Lane representative is Steve Reynolds.


Subjects discussed to date are Speaker recommendations, membership lists, common interest groups & ideas for future joint events..
 

Pennine Link also sends representatives to Regional meetings organised by the Third Age Trust ( National Organisation) which ensures members' views can be heard nationally.

Representatives from High Lane, Marple Bridge and Mellor, Marple, New Mills and District, Romiley, Tameside, Glossop and Buxton meet 2 to 3 times a year to discuss subjects of common interest.   The acting chairman is Hazel Perry from New Mills and District.
Subjects being discussed at the moment are arrangements for a shared "Canal Event" Summer 2012 and the "Working with new members document".
